Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P model names confirmed for upcoming Google phones. A recently leaked retail box images that have surfaced the Internet and are claimed to be the cover boxes for the upcoming Nexus Smartphone models. The image confirms that the upcoming models will indeed be called the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P in line, as per the confirmation of the leaks. While we are just a few weeks ahead from the Google launch event that is slated to fall later this year, the tech giant is expected to reveal some new hard core hardware. Many of the big details about the designs and specifications of the much awaited launch of upcoming Nexus Smartphone that is claimed to be manufactured by the famous Huawei and LG have already been leaked. However, the speculations and rumors are apparent around the naming convention of the handset till now.
The images that have surfaced the Internet depict the same styled boxed as that of previous models and versions of the Smartphone series and the leaked image sports a large sized X for the Nexus 5X and a P for the Nexus 6P. The images also reveal that that the Nexus 5X box will come with a rectangular design whereas the Nexus 6P will sport a rounded edged box. Material designed wallpaper style can also be spotted on both the boxes of upcoming smartphones. However, the point worth noticing is that front of both the boxes has no OEM logo placement.
Google had started sending invites for the Smartphone over the weekend in San Francisco and the tech giant is also rumored to launch its latest Smartphone spaced out from the new Chromecast dongle. Both Nexus 5X from LG and Nexus 6P from Huawei will be running the latest Android version 6.0 Marshmallow when out of the box which is not a surprise for us. The smartphones will sport fingerprint sensors and the USB Type C ports, which are native to almost all the upcoming Android releases.
Based on the leaks and rumours, the Nexus 5X will come with the a 5.2 inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display; a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor; Adreno 418 GPU;3GB of RAM; a 12.3-megapixel sensor; a 5-megapixel front camera, and a 2700mAh battery. And when it comes to Huawei Nexus 6P, it is touted to sport 12-megapixel rear camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 MSM8994 SoC. A 5.7-inch QHD display, an 8-megapixel front camera and front facing speakers. Let’s wait for the launch and see how much of this is true and what all are speculations!
